"I used to live in Mtn. View but when I moved to San Carlos, I tried couple of the local Vets but I decided the drive was worth it! They've taken great care of our pets (cats, dogs and rabbit) and will only do procedures or tests when absolutely necessary."

"We moved from the south bay to San Carlos about 3 years ago -- and I still take our cat to Adobe Animal Hospital. The vets/techs are great with our cat, who is rather difficult. They have separate areas for cats/dogs which is nice, too."

I know this is a little bit out of your requested area but worth the referral. I just LOVE Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Altos. Their number is (650) 948-9661. I've been taking my animals there for 13 years and have never once had a complaint. I have two cats (13 and 8) and a dog (8). Although I like to frequent one vet so they get to know my animals personally, I have gone to other vets in this hospital so I knew the caliber of the vets as a whole at that hospital in case my vet wasn't available. Their vets and technicians are always personable, easy to talk to, love animals and, most importantly, have a good knowledge for veterinary medicine.
