I have a 1984 Volvo station wagon which ramdomly stalls. We took it to our mechanic, who said he fixed it, but the same thing happened the next day. Since it happens ramdomly, the next time we took it to the mechanic it worked fine, so he couldn't find the problem.

We don't want to put a lot of money into it, and want to donate it to charity. All the charities we have called so far take an issue with the mechanical condition. I hear sometimes on the radio that some charities take even non-working cars.

Any suggestions for a deserving charity willing to take a car in questionable mechanical condition?
