| I'm imagining you're meaning close-by, but if you ever want to get away for a few days and are up for the long drive, I'd recommend MacKerricher State Park just above Ft Bragg, which is 10 miles or so ablve ... |

| You can try Costanoa, which does have tent sites but also a number of other accommodation options if your looking to "break-in" folks into the camping idea. Besides the tents they also have platform tents, ... |

| Try Felton State Park in the Santa Cruz mountains. Not far from here. They have toilets and showers. You can explore the small creek. We always enjoy walking the creek and splashing in the larger pools. You ... |
